Roots Movement Partnerships
We have formed links with Brighton Permaculture Trust who are passionate about tree planting in Sussex. One of their key projects is the ‘Orchards for Schools’ movement in which they’ve planted 80 orchards in schools around East Sussex. We also work with the Race Hill orchard committee who are creating a community orchard in Whitehawk, Brighton on what was disused scrub and wasteland. With them we will be holding tree planting events in Brighton, UK to get schools, families and communities together planting trees.
Roots Movement work with Brighton based charity ABandOfBrothers who Thom mentors for, getting the young mentees from Brighton out into nature preparing land for the first of the Root Week planting events.
